Privacy Policy

Scrubadub (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent NFL historical-data website operated by Rupal Vikas LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have deliberately built Scrubadub to collect as little personal information as possible: accounts are optional (you can browse everything without one), and there is no advertising or cross-site tracking.

Information you provide. If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit so we can read and reply to it. We do not require you to provide any of this to browse the site.

Account information. Creating an account is optional. If you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you use a social sign-in, basic profile information from your chosen provider (Google or Apple). We also store the preferences you save to your account, such as your favorite team. You can sign out at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and its associated data by contacting us.

Information collected automatically. Like virtually all websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically process limited technical data (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request) in order to serve the site, maintain security, and keep it running. We also use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (see “Analytics” below).

Preferences stored on your device. We use your browser’s local storage to remember interface preferences — your light/dark theme, fantasy-scoring settings, and which one-time hints you’ve dismissed. This data stays on your device, is not personal information, and is not sent to us.

What we do not collect. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we do not log your search queries, and we never sell or rent your personal information. Accounts are opt-in and used only to power the features you choose to save.

We use the limited information we collect to:

• respond to messages and feedback you send us;
• operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website;
• understand aggregate traffic patterns so we can decide what to build next; and
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

• Resend — delivers the email generated by our contact form to our inbox. Your submission is transmitted through Resend; it is not stored in our database.
• Vercel — hosts the website and provides our analytics.
• Supabase — hosts the historical sports database that powers the site, and (if you create an account) provides authentication and stores your account profile and saved preferences.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Scrubadub does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only data we store in your browser is the functional preference data described above (theme, fantasy settings, dismissed hints), held in local storage. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings; doing so simply resets those preferences.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous traffic — for example, how many people visit a page. It is cookieless, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Messages you send through the contact form remain in our email inbox and in Resend’s delivery logs for as long as we reasonably need them to respond and keep a record of correspondence. You can ask us to delete your message at any time. Aggregate analytics data contains no personal information and is retained in aggregate form.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Because the only personal information we hold is what you send through the contact form, you can exercise these rights simply by contacting us, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Scrubadub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Scrubadub is operated from the United States. If you access the site from elsewhere, be aware that any information you submit is processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

The site links to third-party sites (for example, our social accounts and our Ko-fi support page). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; their own policies govern your use of them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
